Artwork from the “Golden fake” series, which explores the tension between appearance and truth - between what seems like value or success and what is in fact only their imitation.
“New configuration” presents a system built on the illusion of authority. The golden symbol at the center draws attention and dictates direction, although it carries no real meaning. Around it, figures repeat gestures of submission, maintaining an arrangement that exists only because no one questions it.
It is a reality in which meaning emerges through repetition rather than truth. The mechanism resembles a situation where everyone sees, but only a few choose to stop pretending.
In the foreground, figures appear who operate differently. Their halos resemble structures - reminiscent of microchips - serving as sources of independent understanding. These are figures that do not require an external point of reference. They do not follow the symbol - they recognize it.
“New configuration” represents a moment of breaking away from illusion - a shift from a system based on obedience to a reality shaped by awareness.
It is not the symbol that forms the center. The center is shaped by those capable of independent thought.
“New configuration” is a spatial composition without a traditional canvas. In darkness, the work reveals its second aspect - the contours begin to glow with their own light.
